11th Annual SCU Men's Soccer Golf Tournament; Alumni Weekend
The Santa Clara men's soccer team will host its 11th Annual SCU Men's Soccer Golf Tournament, a fundraiser, at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club on Monday, April 28th. We invite you to join us at this fun-filled event that raises money to support the team and provide our student-athletes with the opportunity to learn and grow through their experiences at the University.
The tournament is being played as a four-person scramble, and is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., with the driving range opening at 12 p.m. The cost to play in the tournament is $250 per person and includes the buffet dinner and other gifts. Following dinner we will announce the winner of the silent auction and present awards for performance on the course. We are accepting donations and any type of contribution that you can provide.
Additionally, there will be a chartered wine tasting tour the day of the golf tournament. While the golfers are out on the course, the charter will be taking guests to local wineries, leaving from Cinnabar Hills at 2 p.m. and returning to the course for dinner. The cost of wine tasting for the afternoon, which also includes a ticket for the event's dinner, is just $150 per person.
As part of the program's alumni weekend, the annual men's soccer alumni game will be played on Sunday, April 27th at 1 p.m in Buck Shaw Stadium. A $20 no-host BBQ will follow at 3 p.m.
